Biography

     

    

     Susan Dykstra, a local Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada photographer specializes in capturing the beauty of the northern landscape. She has a passion for capturing the beauty of nature and has been doing so for over ten years now. She spends most of her time in the field capturing the drama and diversity of our unique northern region.

"I try to make people more aware of the uniqueness in nature. People only seem to notice it in a beautiful photo".

Susan owns her own photo gallery, "Window Light Photo Gallery" which is located approximately 12km south of the city of Thunder Bay. Her photographs have been featured in Nature's Best Magazine, Lake Superior Magazine, Season's, etc. Dramatic lighting and unique compositions that convey emotion are what she strives for in all of her images.
